Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

TLDR: I didnt really like Dead Space 2 Dead Space 2 was just one long lonesome walk for me unfortunately. This game gets its acclaim from its looks they are super slick and the sound is brillaint as well. The story is essentially AAA you start at A walk on treadmill for 18hrs to A then the Apocalyps...

Re: Everquest Next officially cancelled, Landmark launching Spring 2016

I keep seeing this quote: "Unfortunately, as we put together the pieces, we found that it wasn't fun" when really the one that is a little more insightful is this one: "Creating systems in and of themselves is time and resource consuming; trailblazing new technology is even more so. Ultimately, we r...

Re: Mellie's Random Game Discussion Thread

Bought Stardew Valley. Never played anything like it before so I'm really not sure how it will go. Whatever else happens at least I won't have any problems with it being derivative I guess. Let us know how that goes Yurtle I havent found any good reviews on it yet but damn has it got some hype for ...

Re: Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak

The main appeal of the Homeworld games is that they are operatic in both sound and visuals; I mean watching a space battle is something spectacular. I think a ground based one may detract from that it doesnt have to but it may.

Age of Conan (Unchained)

So I bought this game when it first came out (2008) still have the disc and I have gone back to it maybe about every two years or so. I am now level 43 out of 80... Problems I have most with the game: - Its horrible to navigate. (mainly going from instance to instance) - quest line seems broken. (I ...

Re: Spectre

Spectre was good. Its just wears it haphazardness on its sleave is all. It was bound to happen I mean wrapping up a four film thingy was always gonna be tricky and it also goes for too long, theres too many moments where nothing is happening. But all that said it was good imo. Good action fantastic ...
