Re: Ghost Recon: Wildlands

28% of download completed here. I'll try and see if any of you are up for a multiplayer game some time. It's my first introduction to any Tom Clancy games, the themes and open world environment is quite appealing to me. Hopefully the game lives up to expectations. :D

Re: Rogue One (first Star Wars standalone)

One thing I didn't like about the movie, was the marine soldiers type charactors that joined the rebels on the mission. That's a angle they didn't need to go near, as it makes the movie a lil' too Americana.

Re: Rogue One (first Star Wars standalone)

Seen the movie a couple of weeks back and it didn't disappoint, quite enjoyed how they spliced the story to flow right into the original movie, nice touch.

Also pre-ordered the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Steelbook) yesterday, which is meant to be released in April (IIRC).

Re: Star Wars Battlefront

I'll see if the Season Pass sells at a reduced price once BF1 is released. Might get back into if the price comes down quite a bit from the current price of $60.

Re: Battlefield 1 is coming!

Yeah, I've been persisting with it, Yurtles. Though it gives me the impression of it being a modded version of Star Wars: Battlefront a fair bit. But seeing both Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam have been pushed back to at least Q1 of next year I might invest in this ...

Re: Battlefield 1 is coming!

If Star Wars Battlefront is anything to go by, then BF1 base game at $80 odd bucks might have you throwing in the towel earlier than expected because the game (SW:B) isn't much fun unless you have the season pass. But hey, glad to hear some are happy with it, Nekosan. :) EDIT: $169.98 for the Ultima...

Re: Battlefield 1 is coming!

I'm finding it hard to get into the Beta as well, it's fairly uninspiring which is disappointing as this was one of the games I was looking forward the most this year. But yeah, scratch me up as another one that will most likely pass on BF1, because there's not much point unless you have the premium...

Blend the anchovies into the mayo or sauce, and add chopped olives to the dough mix before baking off the buns, or layer them between meat and cheese so it becomes one with the melted cheese. :D

Maybe GOTY price for me. I'll wait another year or so like did with Fallout 3: GOTY and Fallout: New Vegas.

Re: How do you eat kiwifruit?

Depending on variety (Hayward most common in Oz), a perfectly ripe kiwifruit is easily skinned by holding length ways in both hands squeezing with your fingertips simultaneously. The skin should come off cleanly. Personally I tend to believe most people eat them while they're still a bit green. Usua...

Just tried to find it via Steam and there's no mention of it. But yeah, I share the same general consensus of believe it when I can download it.

Just picked up DOOM (+dlc) for $54.99 at cdkeys. Considering I'm another old DOOM fan, all the good reviews made it sound too good to pass up.

Dare say I'd give it a go, though being WW1 themed game it'll probably have a short lifespan.

Purchased Mad Max key for $13.31AUD at cdkeys. If anyone else grabs it, be sure to pay in EURO for €8.49, otherwise if you purchase in AUD they will sting you $18.75.

Re: Is SLI worth it?

From my take on it (noob opinion), SLI wouldn't be something I'd consider unless I was running a 3 monitor set up for flight/race sims. I doubt there'd be much point running SLI for single monitor unless for the fact of removing extra cash from your wallet for very little gain. In general with pc g...

Re: Is Battlefield 5 headed to World War I?

My thoughts exactly, Nekosan. Modern warfare games have been done to death, and any WW1 wouldn't offer enough content to stimulate the masses for very long. Whereas, warfare utilities around the Korean/Vietnam era is a good balance in my opinion. But hey, one is allowed to dream. Rising Storm 2: Vie...
