Re: DSClient.exe

I, just out of general curiosity, would like to know why you are using a win98 machine to access a vista machine. What's going on here Treloar? I have a really old PC that has Win 98 SE on it, I use to to play old dos games etc... alas it's the only PC I have that has a card reader, which is really...

Re: Cheap/User Friendly media player?

I highly un-recommend Google Chromecast... I got one and rarely use it as it's a headache to setup.

As funny as it is to say the best media player I have personally used thus far is the Astone 360T, easy to setup, easy to use, NAS function.
I currently use it as my backup device for all my computers.

Re: Boot on mouse click

Having disabled boot on both my mouse and network to wake my PC I know to do this via the device manager, power management tab.

Simply check or un-check the appropriate tick box.

Re: iiNet Connection Speed Manager

My phone is with Telstra and I do have intermittent static. My ISP is Internode. Edit: Well I submitted a new ticket to technical support, they called me on my mobile and stated I had a line fault and that was why my speed was so slow. They then told me to log a ticket with my phone service provider...

Re: iiNet Connection Speed Manager

Well, I've tried: Using new cables, different modems, different adsl filters, isolation test, no filter, various operational modes, different phone jacks (1 in kitchen & 1 in bedroom), cycling the modem and that's about it. Currently in the modem it reads: Operational Mode ADSL2+ Upstream 591 Downst...

Re: iiNet Connection Speed Manager

I changed plans recently to Internode Reach ADSL2+ 100GB and it's been craptastic! I can't choose a line profile as that option is greyed out, so I am a bit stumped as to what to try... Can any of you knowledgeable individuals help me out :?: Edit: Looking in my modem it states thus about my line: S...
