I also like cider. And wine. So I was pretty torn on what to get.

Sweet ciders are pretty much alcopops, but the same can be said of certain wines. The entire category is too varied to make any sweeping judgements about.

I bought some LIttle Creatures cider last weekend. Might put a bottle in the fridge for the weekend.

Pfft, the only way I get drunk these days is when there are negronis on the aperitif menu, followed by wine paired with food.

I'm already home but that's because I'm working from home... doesn't feel all that relaxing as we have an urgent matter in the office and trying to help sort things out remotely on a 10" Surface Pro is painful at best.

I left my PC on all day whilst at work yesterday thinking that I might be able to play Destiny 2 by the evening... out of the 55Gb still remaining at the time, I still have 16Gb to go.

Bosses first few days back at work were up and down, first 2 days was constant tears but she got better as the week went on. She is off to Sydney this weekend to visit friends, tried to put herself on call this weekend so I just waited until she left and changed it to me. She'll be shitty about it, but we can have that argument on Monday. I just think she still needs to take it easy for a bit and if that means I need to keep doing extra in the short term that's okay.

This is Ollie, Ollie is 14 and she is a Blue Cattle Dog x Foxy x Corgi and she belongs to my boss. When my boss brings her into work, she often lays at my feet like this and keeps me company throughout the day (and I might sneak her snacks for being such a good doggo). My boss and I are taking Ollie to the vet hospital for surgery in about half an hour to have her eye removed, there is a growth behind her eye and depending on how bad it is, she will either come home this afternoon as a beautiful pirate doggo or she may go and wait at the Rainbow Bridge.

Sending positive vibes out into the Universe for this beautiful girl, we really want her to make it home tonight <3

Thanks, waiting patiently for an update from the surgeon on the pirate princess... time feels like it goes so slow when you're waiting.

She pulled through the surgery okay, eye was successfully removed BUT had blood coming out the intubation pipe which is not normal. They have x-rayed her and think potentially a lung infection but could be worse. Going to try a 6 week course of antibiotics which will hopefully clear any infection of the lung as well as keep any potential infection of eye socket at bay, and reassess from there. Grand total for today was $1600. We can pick her up in the morning and she will be spending the week in the office with us whilst she recuperates.

Not the ideal situation but it's at least on the more positive side of things. Hope the old girl pulls through.

Realistically, if she was ours and we were in our current situation we wouldn't have spent that trying to save a dog that old - but I can understand why my boss did it. She lost her Dad three years ago, she has just lost her mum and is struggling with that, one of her siblings are also deceased and all she has left is one sister who is hard work at the best of times. She doesn't have a partner, and I think losing Ollie right now would tip her over the edge.

This has been changed last I saw... A 3 month extension has been added due to technical issues they are having with the website.
Extended out to 31st January to make the choice to Opt Out.
