tell them to email it to you in the future, we've gotten so many letters from centrelink over the months asking for info due like the day after we actually got the letter, just started going into the local office and making them deal with it.

As far as I'm aware they can't/don't email renewal documents for firearms licences, in NSW you can't even submit a PTA online, you have to post it to them it's insane.

I just tried to ring them, their office opens at 9AM.. "We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and cannot take your call" and then hangs up.

I'd say that's exactly what it is.. although it's not great either when you need to ring them only to be told they're too busy 40 minutes after opening and they hang up on you.

Utter wankers.

Hmmm, I know I'm not "with the times" but when did they start using the word 'thick' to describe how biteable a woman's backside is instead of as a term that demotes a person's intellect?

The long weekend being the weekend before the move has its advantages, but I'm already over the packing thing and it's only lunchtime Saturday.

It's been one of those days, the hot water relief valve was spitting out hot water like no tomororw, so drained the tank and went to buy another from Bunnings, except they don't have any that fit, so put the hot water system back together and now I can't get the piece of shit gas heater to ignite. Fuck.

No real games being shown at E3... everything seems indie or 4k remasters... there's very few titles that actually look any good.

A Way Out
Call of Duty
Battlefront 2
Fortnight

That's all the "mentionables" I can think of.

Wolfenstein looked amazing, and really thinking I should grab the first now. Although with the naming they have, I'm not sure I know which is the first to this one.

Battlefront 2 looks ok, but my problem is with the them actually releasing what they say... and actually decently.

Rabbids + Mario could be interesting, didn't see what platform, but I am going to assume Switch only, which is annoying.

Battletech looks really bloody good, and I'm looking forward to the NFS game

The New Order was the first Wolfenstein in this reboot. And it's a really good shooter. Not quite Doom good, but solid in its core mechanics. The Old Blood is a standalone expansion I believe, but I've heard mixed things about it.

Ubisoft mentioned some great stuff IMO... Skull and Crossbones and Beyond Good and Evil 2 for instance.

Wolfenstein 2 looks good as well.

Beyond good and evil 2 looks awesome!

But I found most of the announcements pretty dry. Maybe that's a sign I need to get on with life.

I'm a little dissapointed with Ubi this year, their games seems lazy this year.

Skull and Crossbones could be good - but I feel it's just Assassin's Black Flags minus the Assassin's stuff - it doesn't look like they really built much more on top of it. It's almost like we're going to be sold 1/5th of Black Flags for a premium price. "For Honor" on water.

Wolfenstein isn't Ubi though.

Maybe I've been gaming for too long and now everything is starting to feel like "been there done that" - nothing feels fresh anymore.

This might be me too.

Most other announcements have been "4k remasters" and indie games.

ANTHEM. *waves flag* Have watched that trailer a couple of times now. Really keen for a new Bioware IP at last and it reminds me a lot of Firefall, which is sadly no more.

Skull & Bones looks great. May not live up to expectations but I appreciate Ubisoft having a go at it. Hopefully it's not multiplayer only. Also, IT HAS A KRAKEN!

Hmm Destiny 2 now has a release date... so is it going to be a straight contest between Anthem and Destiny 2?
Or are they different enough?

Anthem looks a bit more open world than what Destiny is, but I could be wrong.
It looks and sounds like it could be a good game - but with game releases these days... only time will tell.

Anthem's 2018 at the earliest, Destiny 2's in a couple of months. Room for both!

After seeing more videos on this Mario + Rabbids, I'm slowly coming around to the idea - I still think Nintendo could've done a full proper nintendo game of it rather than including the Rabbids, but ehh... might be alright.
