You're in Ormeau, Nite? We were there last week.

Yes/no/sort of.... my family are Brisbane Bayside (Wellington Point area), but one of my close mates moved to Ormeau about a year ago and we were visiting them last Thursday night when that big downpour hit :) They're just near the high school, it's a nice spot there.

Oh snap, I'm not far from there either. Yeah, it's a decent enough little spot here.

Yeah it's a very cruisy drive between the two spots :)

Absolutely! Especially when there is a winery in the middle. Great day trip there.

Yeah, it's nice to sit out on the deck at Sirromet and have a bite to eat and some vino... even Dad likes it there, and he's not really into the winery scene.

Trying to get games redeemed for various bonus offers is horrible. What happened to just getting a game code in the box?

So far of 3 I've had
1. This one worked, but the instructions for how to do it were written in terrible Engrish, had to get a code from the hardware itself after it's already installed, then wait on verification from the manufacturer. At least this one was sorted in a couple of days.
2. Another one where it looks like the retailer has sent me the wrong code after waiting over a week. Now I have to wait on the manufacturer's support contact.
3. Finally one where the serial number is not accepted on their redemption portal. Contacted support who said I have the right serial number, but then I have to contact special promotions support for help who hasn't gotten back to me in over a week.

Back when I was doing my computer science degree, I created a quick access HTML file with links to all the sites I need frequently.

I realised before going on holidays that my Phone and Internet links were all out of date. Finally got around to updating these with my current mobile and internet services... as well as link to my current modem. I think the previous link was to 4 modems ago! lol

Why don't you just bookmark the sites?

I do.

But I like opening up my browser to a homepage that's curated with about 50 links I can easily click on to get to the sites I use the most.

Use a browser addon and pin them?

Tried that with Firefoxe's native homepage, don't really like it. Too cluttered due to larger icons being used vs just text and a lot of space in between. It also doesn't help refresh my knowledge of html code.

Came down with a nasty upper respiratory infection so have been home all day. A wonderful start to the weekend.

From the looks of it either the oil sump was clogged or the oil pump died. No oil in engine = a not happy car.

Seized up as I was driving to my parents place yesterday. So can’t afford a new car atm :(

That sucks kharis. Hope you get the car fixed somehow.

I've spent another day drugged up, at home and in bed... didn't help that I left the windows open and didn't notice the smokey weather from all the bushfires (I can't smell anything) so that's probably been irritating my respiratory system without me realising it.

Yeah, my asthma has been quite bad thanks to the countless dust storms blowing our way from out west, the Dr said all his patients with allergies/asthma are having a bad time

Yeah, I did my usual Spring fail again this year:
"Oh the weather is warming up, I can leave my window open all day/night to get some fresh air."

I wish the weather would just level out and stop flip flopping between summer and winter down here.
Yesterday was 30+, today is 18... seriously just work this shit out.

Hope everyone up North is safe from the fires though, isn't looking great for the East coast

The doctor gave me a prescription for Amoxil today. At the pharmacy, I was about to ask for Dimoxinil.

In case anyone doesn't get it, watch this...
