Show Us Your Desktop!

Post by GamingKen » 26 Feb 2016, 22:44

Once upon a time this used to be a thing on GoN. I always found it quite interesting as many people had interesting setups with Rainmeter or other desktop apps. Some people also just had awesome wallpaper! Anyway, I am making it a thing again so show me what you've got!

Mine is rather boring and plain, but that works for me at the moment. I've also found that I actually like using the full-screen Start menu in Windows 10, so that it works much like Windows 8 did. I grew to like that a lot for organizing shortcuts. Anyway, I am really only posting mine to kick this off so that I can see what interesting setups others are using.

Third display died the other week. It's on its way for repair, hopefully I get it back soon. :D

I have a lot of images and files on the desktop but I must have them hidden, hate seeing them on the screen. Also rocking the full screen start menu with Windows 10.

Prepare to be amazed... by the default Windows 10 wallpaper.

It's not a bad looking wallpaper in my opinion (although some people do seem to hate it). I used to bother a lot more with custom wallpapers but the fact is my desktop is so rarely visible that it hardly seems worth it anymore.

I went with that wallpaper for quite awhile too. As far as default wallpapers go, that is a fairly good one!

If it's not then it's a pretty accurate digital. I'm thinking it's probably a bit of both.

Since I know someone will spot something a little off - no, this is not a pirated copy. It's a long story involving activation keys and a reformat :P

I'd post mine but it's minimal and the wallpaper rotates constantly... and usually covered in windows anyway. I suppose I could post the current desktop.

I got nothing for ya... I was raised to not do things I wouldn't want done to myself. And that's why anal sex is off the agenda.
