AFL draft on the 24th.

Until then I guess the only thing we can talk about about is Melksham's stolen gear #CosOffSeason

It must have been Jack Watts who stole the gear. Jealous of not being the only Melbourne potato anymore.

Apparently Richmond has the 3rd hardest draw for next year. I think North easily had the worst.
I'll try find the article which talked about it.

Was so happy with how the Bulldogs went this year, hoping for an even better performance next year.

The important thing is that the Lions beat you last :P

Should do a bit better next year, injuries permitting of course, with Schache and Walker finally providing something for our gun midfield to kick to (I hope).

Yeah we knew our position on the ladder wasn't going to change so we phoned it in that

A co worker is a Carlton support and that win took the Lions off the bottom and dropped Carlton down to the wooden spoon, he was really upset.

C'mon Freo! This will definitely be Pav's last year and I want it to end with a flag.

He would have been less upset if Kreuzer had gotten Carlton a number 2 compo pick - fortunately they didn't so Schache is ours

But we did end up getting a bit shafted for our Leunberger compo pick, Bombers obviously should have offered him a bigger contract.

Yeah...one more year which pretty much says it all. He hasn't even confirmed if he'll be captain. Maybe he wants to see how Bennell will fit in and improve the scoreboard

Great! He has put in the hard yards at the Dockers, when he could have gone elsewhere and probably had a premiership by now, so if anyone deserves to go out with one I think it is him.

EDIT -

I tend to follow the Eagles more. They flopped hard in the Grand Final, but such an awesome season before that!

I have a complication relationship with WA Football teams, being a Sydney born boy who grew up in Victoria until moving to WA at age 10... basically I hate them with a fiery passion, but even I was pissed off when the news on the night of the grand final showed Eagles supporters leaving the game at the end of the 3rd quarter, 1 guy was even like "I'm not happy I wasted a lot of money to get here."

We should have our own Footy Tipping contest next year, I actually want to try something a bit different, have 2 tipping accounts per person, 1 that everyone submits their tips for week to week like normal but then a 2nd account where we do the tipping for the entire season at the start of week 1, See how peoples predictions of the teams changed during the season.

I suck at fantasy football but I'm down for being Taco for a player attack league.

If you watch the FX comedy show The League you'd get that refrence... anyone else here watch NFL in the AFL off season? Might make a thread for that.

Can we just change the GON one to be PlayerAttack on footytips.com.au?

Also I don't have the time or desire to do supercoach or fantasy stuff.

Is the admin for the GON comp still active? If so you can easily just change the name of it in the settings.
