Have you tried Sullivans cove whiskey, Disco? (and anyone who is a Whiskey fan.) My mate swears by it that it's one of the best he's had. He loves Glenfiddich too but I'm not really a fan of it but am keen to try Sullivans.
No I haven't tried it, honestly I'm more of a bourbon fan than a whisky fan.. hence the Wild Turkey, but looking to cut down on my beer drinking and maybe change it over to a glass or two of scotch when I feel like a drink rather than half a dozen beers.Disruptor4 wrote:Have you tried Sullivans cove whiskey, Disco? Forgot to add this, new seat for my Harley:
On PS4 it'll still have a player base for you to enjoy the game and I think it's worth the $30 on that platform. On PC it's kinda dead.Disco wrote:Finally came across it at a price where I'm wiling to have a punt, if I get a few hours out of it for $30 then it's easily worth it
As for myself...
OK, this was my bro's lunch but I paid for it. I got a rice vermicelli salad with grilled pork and spring rolls, and an iced coffee. Quite nice.

Its good. Brighter than the big mag lights that are in most of the cars. But you will be lucky to get 30-40 mins out of the brightest setting - But thats not bad considering its the brightness of a small sun. Its got an easy to use little control ring though, so if you don't need that much light, you can just dial it down and save some battery. Ill probably look into getting a few more rechargeable batteries and see if they make it last a bit longer (mine are a bit old now).Artful-dodgeR wrote:Damn, how does it go? Its got some cool other settings too, like a blue led that doesn't use much battery at all and you can, for example, use it in the car to write etc and not ruin your night vision.
I was tossing up between this one and a wolf eyes torch, which are also pretty good. Decided on this one just because it had a few more options that i will use.
Just make sure you buy more than one set of batteries, so you can change them out if you need to.
I'm happy with it though, and its close to tax time so ill just write it off
With a semi-decent set of kitchen knives, I thought I'd actually have a go at knife sharpening. Luckily my dad was a chef so he was able to teach me. Kitchen warehouse has a sale on so got this for $119 (was $210)
I used to sharpen all our knives on a stone, these days I just use one of those suction cap things that stick to your bench you just run the knife through - removes a fair bit of material but then we don't have super expensive kitchen knives either, does a great job on the kitchen knives and my pocket knife
