Ha! Well who knows what life has in store but it kind feels good to come along at the start of a new chapter though, despite a sadness at seeing what has unfolded for games.on.net. The "real world" distracts me from these things at times, but I'm always bound to come back to what interests me and, although it has been and on and off, the gon community has been a big part of that for awhile now. It's like going home at Christmas :D

Holy shit.

CoD... the multi feels good again. And this campaign... CoD hasn't been this clever since MW.

Really impressed.

Really got myself quite hooked on playing Arms Race in CSGO. It's pretty random and a spammy deathmatch type mode, but for just picking up and playing in short burst in suits my desires so much more than the standard CS.

Also, played a little of Portal Stories: Mel, which is a free mod for Portal 2 available on Steam. Pretty damn impressed. Top voice acting, looks and feel different enough to Portal 2 while still being a Portal experience. By the sounds of it there is a good 5+ hrs to the story. If anyone with Portal 2 wants a new Portal experience, this seems the place to start.

Arms Race is a great way to familiarize yourself with all the weapons in the game.

And yet I still cannot aim like heck. However, it's good when you hear that 'Ding!' that you killed someone :D

Definitely! It quickly makes you have to learn the strengths and weaknesses of all the weapons.

I've been playing a heap of CS:GO in Casual lately with a couple of people on IRC. Loving it.
Also getting slightly back into Warframe with another mate. Getting the hang of it again. Gotta get used to the fact that people don't like to explore (which I tend to do in games) and just go to the objective and that's it.

Buy me CS:GO pls :P

Also just finished Batman Arkham Asylum and City so now it's time to knock Fallout New Vegas of my steam list of shame before I can purchase Fallout 4. Not sure what kind of character I want to play yet though...

I'd have a crack at New Vegas but I'm still scarred after my last save file was corrupted :(

rFactor. Getting to be an old game now, but I've discovered they have added it to Steam, and anyone who owns the game already can get a key to redeem it on Steam. (good luck finding your details) http://rf1comm.rfactor.net/purchase/get_steam_key.php

EDIT: Should add, I finally got around to playing The Walking Dead season 2 and finishing it. Although not as good as the first one it still manages to pull you in and has plenty oh my god moments! I felt like I was less involved in the game this time though, but I guess neither really give you a lot of "game". Without a doubt one of my favorite game series though.

The "real" Clementine

More Shadowrun Returns tonight. Still enjoying the story and the little things that can be done...
Also I now have 2 drones following me which is cool, one is hovering while the other drives along behind...

And now time for something else, just can't decide what...

I just watched Good Game Pocket on ABC2 and got to see some Need For Speed. Dear god, it is every douche bag racer boy thing I hate! ...and that is all just in the FMV.

Good Game in the Player Attack forums? You've come to the wrong neighborhood boy...

I agree with Nichboy that dude who was always playing with his hat is totally a meth head. I wonder if the further you get into the game they start to acknowledge how cheesy the FMV stuff is. The game looks mighty pretty but I think that drift camera would get annoying in a proper race and is it always online? thats a pretty instant no buy for me, optic fiber getting washing away on Saturday reminded me of why that is still an issue.

Ha! I like a bit of Good Game no matter where I am, so :P

It's such a shame they can make a game so pretty (though I do think setting it in a place that is night and wet is cheaty way to make things "pretty" - Does it even have daylight and sunshine? I haven't seen enough to know), and then make it totally lame with all their other choices. I would hate driving with that camera movement every time I caught a bit of a drift. And did you see when he paused the game to access some setting, but discovered the game keeps running behind the menu? What the hell?! I get you can't really pause in an "online" game, but he hadn't even been introduced to the world. That on top of an always online style DRM just rules it right out for me.

Been enjoying Rebel Galaxy but its giving me a massive case of space sim blue balls, its fun, but not much depth, then I look at my steam friends list and the 2 people I see in game the most are Moose and another mate of mine and they are both playing Elite and I'm like damn that looks fun.

But then I'm like Fallout 4, no time for deep complex games.
