To answer Otto's earlier question, the item is only free under certain circumstances - IF the supermarket is a signatory to the code of practice for computerised checkout systems in supermarkets (not all are, it's voluntary) AND the item scans at a higher price than the shelf ticket or advertisement, then the customer is entitled to receive the first item free and subsequent items at the lower price UNLESS it is liquor, tobacco or has a shelf price of more than $50.

Did it satisfy?

I managed to avoid buying chocolate in my last grocery run but couldn't turn down these...

Do Kettle chips have flavours that just come and go? I almost never buy them, but I tried a packet a while back to see if they were still painfully hard to chew (they're not) and I've never seen that flavour again. Rosemary and sea-salt. I quite liked them.

Yeah, both Red Rock Deli and Kettle have flavours that come and go I believe. It's working in my case as I do find myself buying them to try as a 'flavour of the month' thing... well it's more like flavour of the week atm.

I liked that flavour too!

I know they're not crisps, but Birds Eye do frozen potato chips that are Rosemary & Sea Salt, on the rare occasion that we cook hot chips, those are our go-to.

Ordered the new 9.7" iPad (128GB, wifi + cellular) as well as the Apple Pencil, which it is compatible with. The iPad was $799 through Harvey Norman, but I ordered it through Telstra for a total plan cost of $816 over 24 months as this includes 2GB/data per month for just $17 more. I will primarily be connected to wifi but having a data plan will be useful.

I rarely use our laptop at home anymore, I seem to have outgrown sitting in front of a laptop all night. I've been using Disco's iPad a bit BUT iPads really aren't designed for sharing, as it's not possible to have seperate profiles, so everything on the iPad is his (email, messages, facebook, facebook messenger, etc).

I'd also like to try using an iPad more at work, the amount of paper I waste in scribble notes and things is disgraceful and even my volunteers have commented on the amount of paper that leaves my office in my recycling box. I've been researching apps and Goodnotes 4 seems to be the winner - no lag of off-set when using the pencil, you can create a large number of separate notebooks within the app which means I can have an everyday note pad, and then seperate notepads for the various committees and groups I am a part of etc. You can also upload your own templates, which means I can upload all of my WHS checklists etc. You can print direct from the app if you are connected to a printer, or you can email the PDF to print from your PC. You can annotate pdf's. You can search the text even though it's hand written... and it all syncs with the app on your phone, which means if I don't have my iPad with me and i need to check something, I can open the app on my phone and grab that number I jotted down or whatever.

Mouse keeps double clicking. I have been using an Autohotkey script, but it's getting worse.

Fuck my life and fuck the maker of that boom arm for telling me it's compatible when it isn't.
I reckon ones made by the maker of the microphone will work. Their website states it would.

I have also purchased the hunting of monsters game. Already "finished" it on XB1 but looking forward to having another go at it, maybe with friends this time!

I also bought some new chilli seeds to plant in the spring. If any of them grow I will come back with pictures then. >_>

If you're preordering on PC why would you go to EB? Just get it from Bethesda? Oh well, too late!

I'm surprised Disco hasn't shared that, because I got the new iPad, he almost set his shoes on fire getting to the shops as fast as he could to buy one too... I'm surprised he didn't pull a muscle :P
