Can me make War Supplies (e.g. War Healing Potion) stackable? There are like 20 ingredients in the Division Supplies pack, and if you are working on multiple at a time, it uses a hideous amount of space.

I would like to see something done with Keen Gems. I currently have over 1000 of them and that is after selling 200 odd to Iona.
I would like to suggest that Signum cash them in for 500xp, and/or lower the cost of converting them to enhanced gems from the current 10,000g to a more appropriate 2-3000 per gem, even if it costs 5 keen gems instead of 3...

As an addition to the idea of lowering the cost for the gem converter, maybe keen edge should be able to be converted to the other crafting gems. As it is, the cost for each individual gem (buying them from the workshop merchants) is a little ridiculous imo!

You can currently convert keen to other gems (DIscipline, Massive Damage etc) at a cost of 3 gems and 3000g.

I am asking Enhancement to be treated the same - ie 3k per gem

So I don't suppose anyone can tell I haven't used the converter in a while...

Further on the topic of Keen gems, How about making Keen gems upgradable to Minor runes... for instance at a cost of between 15 and 30 gems and 25kgp and 50kgp per rune. I think that would solve the glut of keen gems currently in the world. eg, I sold 350 to Iona earlier in the week and I have almost replaced them

Weight Reduced Bedroll

Post by southead » 16 Apr 2018, 16:31

I'd like to see a bedroll introduced to the crafting items with 100% weight reduction, happy for it to involve hard to get ingredients etc and cost around 100kgp, It frustrates me as a dexy I must carry this crazy heavy lump of crap around

Wholeheartedly seconded. I struggle with this as a mage, even with strength buffs.
Maybe it's made out of rage spider silk? (normal kind, not queens)

I would like to raise the issue with a useless feat particularly on robes and other armours of enhanced rank and all the way to superlative versions.. That is "+1 soak 5/-"

It is of no use at all less your going to spend your characters entire build fighting rats and stuff down the sewers all the way to level 40 ...

At the very least this feat should start at +2 soak 10/- at enhanced level and increase as the robe/armour advances through superior, peerless, and suplative...

Perhaps scaled thus -: +3 soak 10/- at superior -- +4 soak 15/- at peerless, and +5 soak 15/- at superlative...

Alternatively remove it altogether or replace it with something that is actually useful to the wearer ... Like either some class specific ability or perhaps +2 through +5 regeneration...

So firstly, your suggestion of scaling it makes it barely better than the Stoneskin effect at superlative, which is basically useless by that point.
Secondly, this thread: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3335

Think you missed the point Andre ... Soak at +1 soak 5/- only gives 5 soak of damage if your attacker uses a +1 damage weapon on you ... If the attacker uses a +2 weapon or better on you, you get the full damage to yourself... (ie no reduction) ...
Stoneskin gives 10/- no matter how powerful the weapon is but is limited by the casters level in the amount of hit points protection given...

The scaling I made above is purely a suggestion the important issue is the level of the soak... +1 soak 5/- is absolutely a waste of time whatever ... Where +5 soak 15/- much better meaning your attacker has to hit you with a +6 weapon for you to take full damage... Perhaps look at the scaling as a start point no reason for my suggestion of scaling to be applied as is, it is as I said a suggestion...

Alternatively just remove it altogether or replace it with something that actually is useful... Like suggested some regen or class specific skills or such ... Like Bardic robes to have preform skill points and perhaps a bardic type feat ... Cleric robe to have perhaps extra turn undead and skill points in heal/harm ...

I didn't not miss the point.
Stoneskin is only 10/+5 soak.
+5 reduction becomes almost useless around level 25 on this server.
And one thing you won't know: The damage soak property causes crazy high item values if you try to give it a useful value.

Then as suggested drop it in favour of something useful as +1soak 5/- is pointless...

Can't help but think that the Kabu Assassin Vines and Epic Bison have some of their abilities arse about. Bison are immune to criticals, but Assassin Vines can be Dev Critted? Seems strange.

Thought of a few low-mid level utility items that could be useful

Potion of Legend Lore - Casts Legend Lore at a decent caster level, to help identifying more than 1 item at a time
Wand of Buffing - Casts Haste once a day, mainly to be used to assist with the slow buffing process before getting permahaste

Wouldn't the cheap Speed potions be sufficient for buffing purposes?

Currently the lore potion can already id around 4 or 5 items anyway just have to be a little quick in your clicking and not stopping to read til after the potion effect has expired...

As for haste wand or such this would have a detremental effect on the crafter slaes of haste and speed potions ... Such once a day haste item would just mean that someone would carry a dozen of these wands and never buy potions...

Just look at those whom try sell ghostly visage potions or scrolls ... Because the rod of the same exists these are never bought less they need the scroll for a few scroll duplication purposes...

I would as like to leave the price and the ssituation in regard haste/speed potions as they already are and not include a wand/rod ...

On the exit dialogue for crafting, would it be possible to add a "Craft Last" option?

No.

Theoretically you should have to go through the Swords before you access anything in the module.
They do important things.
