It's gonna be a longer season ending on 12 May (13th May for us Aussies) in order to prepare for...

Well, we suspected it... they're starting to recycle the seasonal rewards (S17 will have the same rewards as S5).

But they've added in an incentive to get Guardian... GALACTIC WINGS!!!!!!

And they were doing so well to win us back. Blizzard's fucked up again... 5 extra stash tabs are now gated behind season FFS!

Oof. Hope it's not too much work to unlock it each time. Don't understand why they'll let consoles do it with gold but not PC.

It'll be the same requirement more than likely... hitting Conqueror in the season journey. That's easy enough but when they set the expectations in the initial patch notes and PTR release to be that we can buy them with gold for 600k for the first one and then increasing to 1mil for the 5th one, going back to gate them so that it'll take 1.5yrs to unlock all of them is just plain BS.

Also, it's worse than the first time they gated stash tabs behind seasons... at least that time, they let us buy 1 tab off the bat with gold before having to jump through hoops for the remaining 4.

Well, we got a blue reply to the whole Stashgate fiasco (yes, that's the official name being used over on the official forums).

They say that it was their communication that was at fault, that they have performance concerns over having such a huge amount of stash space be added to the game in one hit (something about a stash bug that no one reported on), and that it was always their intent to just add the stash via season journey unlock.

Players are still angry and not buying it.

I've suggested that they should just release an extra stash tab at the start of each season for NS and seasonal players and monitor server performance during the season before deciding if another stash tab is viable for release next season. There's no promise for the max number of tabs then. Even the forum MVP (the players with green text) agreed with me on this. We'll see what Blizzard decides to do. I just don't get Blizzard lately.

Either way, I'm planning my class choice around the season journey. Likely gonna play DH as one of the classes I'll use. Also likely that I'll need two classes to finish the journey... the 8x set dungeons and story speed run in <1hr just won't do. And I want my galactic wings.

If it's going to cause problems, just don't do it! Geez.

In more positive news, it looks like Chantodos with the cold Archon rune is going to become a thing:

I always did like the shockwave effect... but it was just too infrequent and not damaging enough. Now they've changed that. Good thing as I got a well rolled ancient Chantodo Want last season and I have a primal chantodo source.

Just don't let anyone with epilepsy play the build.
