Finally finished everything off for the season this morning. Just seeing how far I can push the hammerdin solo and the zdps monk for groups now.

I finally found the chapter stuff within the seasons!

Turned out I had already done most of the first 3 chapters, so it was only a few hours work.

I think I have 2 challenges left before I hit Chapter 4.

Ah, that's good!

Just looking at your profile...

https://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/jam ... o/85405195

I see you haven't claimed your Haedrig's Gift as yet. On the lower right of the GUI is a little button with an envelope on it. This is the ingame mail box. You should have 1x haedrig's gift bags in there. Claim them and you'll get two pieces of the Sunwuko set from the bag. This will help you increase your survivability. You'll get more bags at the end of Chapter 3 and 4 for the full 6 piece bonus.

In terms of what stats on gear to aim for, here's my current Sunwuko build.

https://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Mug ... o/83322529

If there's two things you should take away from it is which items roll the critical hit damage and chance stats. You wanna make sure you get them on those items. Also gamble for the belt Kyoshiro's Soul asap. This will keep your Sweeping Wind stacks up so your 50% damage reduction doesn't drop off.

Monks also have the benefit of the Harmony passive which makes secondary resistances quite desirable and easier to gear up with.

Season 9 end date and Season 10 start date announced:

Season 9 will be ending on the following dates and times:

North America: Friday, March 17 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT
Europe: Friday, March 17 @ 5:00 p.m. CET
Asia: Friday, March 17 @ 5:00 p.m. KST

Season 10 will begin about two weeks afterward on these dates:

North America: Friday, March 31 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT
Europe: Friday, March 31 @ 5:00 p.m. CET
Asia: Friday, March 31 @ 5:00 p.m. KST

Source: https://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/205704 ... n-3-3-2017

Seems this season is ending about 2-3 weeks earlier than the 3 month mark.

Also, anyone thinking of getting the Kanai's Skorn transmog will need to wait till 24th March and must get it before the 31st March...

https://us.battle.net/forums/en/d3/topi ... =3#post-45

EDIT: Not sure how much I'm gonna get into S10. Might just try my luck with hunting down some better Wizard gear but Wizards aren't exactly in a spot where I enjoy playing them atm. All their top builds are melee range and I don't see that changing soon. Also, Ghost Recon Wildlands is looking more and more tempting.

Season 10 starts after Mass Effect Andromeda release, that's all the reason I need to skip it.
If anyone wants to join the Clan at any point you may want to post here so you can get approved. Suspect Makena might be a bit busy with Mass Effect as well. :D

Was really hoping Necro would be ready for the next season but that's obviously not happening. Maybe S11? :)

The Necro will be S11 at earliest. They said that it'll be a second half of 2017 release and TBH, at the pace that this dev team does stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a S12 release.

I'm at a point where my NS stash is getting quite packed again and finding room to offload gear to play seasons is getting harder. I'll do S10 to get the portrait for my Wizards at the very least but there's literally nothing else apart for some better Wizard weapons that I have to do in this game.

Yeah, I've notice you seem to be gaming less (at least on PC) lately. Apart from HOTS daily quests (which I'm getting to the point of wondering why I'm doing... I got enough gold to buy all heroes released so far), I haven't played D3 much. My monk build options in NS are in a good spot.

Just don't forget to clean up your seasonal stash before the 17th ;-)

My non-seasonal stash is packed full of stuff. I was going to try salvaging a bunch of cube powers out of my seasonal stash but that means running a bunch of bounties. So bored of bounties! Should probably just salvage everything at the blacksmith that isn't an ancient. There's always more drops. :D

Hit 92 2 man greater last night. If i can hit 93 in a good time, or 94, Pade and I should stay on the leaderboards this season. Pade's been a monster. He only bought Diablo about a week into this season, and he made the top 100'ish solo crusader.

(I use my zdps monk for 2 man, i solo on the twirler barb)

New info on the Necro has dropped but no price or release date has been announced still...

https://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/20597129

But it will come at the same time as the challenge rifts, the two new zones and more. Yeah, the speculation is high for this one. Pack for the necro now includes a pair of wings in addition to pet, pennant, portrait, banner sigil, two character slots, and two stash tabs.

Don't like reading? Pet class fan club president, BigDaddyDen, has a vid going over things.

First look at patch 2.5.0...

I hope this patch deploys sooner than the season 10 start.

Those changes to mats storage and use will be awesome.
And the wardrobe ideas, be good when changing set armour.

Hopefully it drops soon then, but I can wait until S10 if need be

Yeah, between job app writing, mum's surgery and Wildlands, I have more than enough on my plate. But I am a tad OCD with my stash management so this patch will do wonders for me.

Nah, removing gems no longer has a gold cost anymore. The jeweller will need to make money via other means.

They should track how much gold each npc makes off you each season.

Hey all, figured I should sign up and say G'day!

Dedzy got me into the game about a week after season 9 started and well ... im hooked, im sure a few of you have seen me online in game!

Pushed the solo crusader leader boards this season and made it to 90 but keen to get some 4 man action going in season 10.
I'll be rolling a dps monk and have been playing around with builds in the final days of this season, I got as far as 70 with the gen build and 75 on the innas EP.

Whats everyone else going to be playing in season 10?

Welcome to the forums! Well done on placing on the leaderboards too.

I'll play DH if I play this season, depends how much Mass Effect grabs me, but I imagine I"ll end up playing at some stage of it (assuming it goes for 3 months again)

Looks like you're playing DH. We get Marauders! But just be prepared for a slower paced style of play but atm, M6 is doing more damage than UE.
jambo wrote:I haven't played a good Barb in a while, so I might do that in season 10.
I played Barb in S6 which has the same Haedrig's Gift sets as S10. Raekors is pretty versatile for the tasks associated with the season journey.

As for myself, I'm still gonna roll Wizard. I'm mainly wanting to play with DMO since I haven't used that set properly. I've used Firebirds and Tal Rasha quite a bit but DMO I never got into when it was king, and Vyrs I have a working build but it's so underpowered atm, there's no point in using it unless it's Tal6/Vyrs4. It's a pity the armoury didn't drop last patch as it's more useful for Monks. But it'll still be welcome to be able to switch between dps and speed farming builds easily. Like kharis, I'll be playing leisurely. Will see how far my HC Wizard gets.

Don't claim/salvage any ancient items until the patch drops. You get 3 souls instead of 1.
