Decided to not be a wimp and master that set dungeon... did Vyrs. Attempted twice and got it.

For a moment, it felt like it was gonna be another case of the UE set dungeon frustrations but use of an Aether Walker meant I could just TP all around the dungeon.

Tried making a flashfire build but found it's severely underpowered for T13 rifts despite all the adjustments players have been making to the original build posted by Quin69. They really need to tweak the orb of infinte depth damage bonus so Explosive Blast does some damage again. DMO is also let down by a lack of variety in legendary items that provide a sufficient buff to get to T13 viable.

Conqueror is done!

I don't think I'm going to get Guardian done since I'm not keen on running a second class to do 6x GR55s with different sets. Nor am I keen on doing the campaign speed run.

that's the situation I'm in, all I need to do is a 3rd conquest, but I really don't think I can be fucked with any of them

I was thinking the other day that they really need to revamp the conquests to give players flexibility and variety... namely bump it up to 7 conquests in SC and HC individually and break them down so that there's:

- 2x campaign oriented conquests: the 1hr campaign run can go here but they could also do other things like find all lore books or complete the campaign without using waypoints or complete the campaign using a fresh lvl1 character on Torment without dying... things that don't required doing the conquest in 1 long sitting.
- 4x adventure mode oriented conquests that can be done with a single seasonal character: this would be the bulk of what we're use to.
- 1x adventure mode oriented conquest that requires two or more seasonal characters: the 6x GR55s with different sets and 8x set dungeons will go here.

Yeah that'd be nice.

I did level a wizard to 70, got the tal rasha set from shards, tried a 55, lol nope. So I either need to throw time at that to get 2 sets to do 55, or do it on another class, monk maybe so I can steal all my dexterity stuff like focus/restraint etc, as much as I said I can't be fucked I'm probably going to do it lol

Yeah, Tals by itself isn't the easiest thing to play ever since the CC nerfs were implemented. Even now, it needs to be combined with Archon and 4pc vyrs to get enough toughness (though it adds on a lot of dps when Manald Heal comes into the equation). Pure vyrs and Firebirds is cumbersome to play leaving DMO as the only other set that's decent.

I'd personally go for WD... all 4 sets are GR55 viable and you can reuse the FnRs on your DH for sufficient dps (though, for Jade it would be clunky, but not impossible). Zuni, HT and Arachyr all have insane 6pc buffs, work with FnR well and with a short man's finger in the build, your gargs will kill just about anything.

Bliz is having some issues with the authentication server, no Diablo tonight!

Had the RNG gods on my side earlier today whilst speed farming 75's with my bro (undertow) on his impale DH. We did about 10 GR's and I managed to get belt, chest, boots and pants all ancient with the right stats for my build! stoked!

So far I've managed to find ancient for most of the items that I don't have in ancient in NS. I'm happy to wait till NS to get the rest of the ancient stuff. My Tal ammy isn't the best... missing about a third of the potential CHD but it's still my best one and ancient too. My MH isn't ancient and still yet to get an ancient serpent sparker. Still got a few weeks left I guess. Might need to wait till NS and reforge.

Ouch! Always sucks to salvage something you still need. I've only ever got one good HF ammy and that's the one on my NS UE DH. Rollded with Ambush and has both crits/dex/socket.

Nice work Makena! I still can't be bothered with Guardian.

Had the necro pack been out and I had two spare character slots to use/more stash space to offload stuff, I'd probably have started a second character to do Guardian. Think I'll just be happy with nabbing more portraits than I had planned.

Nice one Makena! I was wondering why you were smashing out all those GR's on ya Wiz.

I was thinking of doing the story run through to finish off mine, will use the WD with chicken run and just let haunt and the pets kill everything.

On the GR side of things I got an 80 solo done last night on my Innas EP monk. No trouble making everything pop and had 5 mins for the boss, of which I needed 4 haha. I kited the big blob that places big poison circles on the ground (forgotten its name) over an entire map only darting in on my COE cold rotation to nuke him.

Undertow and I have also progressed to the stage where we are farming 80's in around 6 mins now, I dot em he pops em. That DH impale build is something else!

By far the most impressive thing we have seen is the EP hamlin kill, once one of those little rats pops with EP it turns into a fountain of rat popping death!

Found it really slow going this season with my DH, not sure why. Level seemed go up ever so slowly, even when I played for a while.

Datamined Necromaner set bonuses on DiabloFans.

I think I'll still enjoy playing the necro through the campaign at least once before endgame shenanigans.

I've been tempted to look at Necro stuff but I'll probably just wait for release and poke at everything myself. Getting a little impatient though. :D

Yeah, different clan. I'm in 7 Sins. Have been since RoS came out as I use to run with most of the active players on the official AU/NZ D3 forums back in vanilla doing crypt runs and have stuck with that community for D3.

Makena would probably be the only other player here who'd do 80's I'd say. I think everyone else is taking this season pretty casually... well, you could bundle me into that category too almost.

During seasons 6, 7 and 8 I was unlocking stash tabs across 3x accounts within the first 2 weeks of each season. This season I'm only doing GR80s because Archon Wizards are so friggin powerful... else I'd probably have stopped at GR60s after reaching Conqueror. Starting again season after season doesn't appeal to me especially when I have a library of well rolled items in NS and over 1k paragons and gems ready for augmenting.

I seriously need to respec my NS Shadow DH to the current impale build though. I never did like the FoK builds and the single target damage from impale DHs are so much more useful for groups

Has someone applied to clan in last day or so? There's a pending application but no name attached to it so I'm reluctant to approve it blindly like I do the others. :D
