New "Chaos Run" DLC coming in December! It's a post apocalypse themed DLC package, for around $3.99 with a few extra cars etc (Listed below), but the best thing about it is that it comes with a new arena, and the arena will be free to everyone, whether you buy the DLC or not. It has different dimensions, different boost locations and more "shape" to it (look at the edges of the arena). This is how you do DLC!

http://steamcommunity.com/games/252950/ ... 0104005271

2 New Battle-Cars, Ripper and Grog
12 New Decals (six for each new Battle-Car)
2 New Paint Types (Camo and Sun-Damaged)
2 New Wheels (Ripper and Grog)
2 New Rocket Trails (Sandstorm, Nuts and Bolts)
3 New Toppers (Boombox, Cow Skull, Mohawk)
3 New Antennas (Bomb Pole, Radioactive, Retro Ball - Wasteland)
5 New Achievements

DLC done right! Don't segregate by the area that people can play in.
Just give you more options for customisation.

Looks pretty cool, not sure if I will get it or not, pretty happy with the original cars anyway :)

Yeah, I still have one of the base cars... the big fuck-off 4WD with mud-chuckers on it.

Disco called me a bogan.

Country girls represent, yo! ;)

(Also, the bigger the car, the more likely I am to hit the ball? So goes the theory LOL

Grabbed this yesterday, and somehow my evening disappeared.

So far I seem to be able to score from kick-off on a regular basis, but I'm pretty damn useless in open play.

Want to join our comp? We're looking for a few extra players... and trust me, Disco and I suck at it. Matty/Moose can verify

Decide to give the Aerial Training mode a go. Managed to 100% the Rookie challenge after a few turns (my video below) but wow some of the next levels up are damn hard! Don't know if I'll ever be able to 100% them! Good fun trying though, and good practice!

EDIT -
A goal from the next PRO Aerial Training Level. This one seems easy compared to the ones being shot out of cannons!

Video of some guy doing the hardest arial training 100%, for reference:

I played for the first time in a few months the other day, getting ready for the 2v2 season. I played a few 1v1s for the first time, and it was a lot more fun than I expected. It's really satisfying when you give someone the runaround and can get the ball into a position to score, and there are no stupid teammates to get frustrated with. It does mean you have to take full responsibility for everything though :p

There is training... I need to go have a look...
Had a couple of good games last night, then a couple of horrible timings...

Yeah it's on the main menu.

I only ever have "good games" when I'm playing with strangers and no one is around to see :dodgy:

There is a save replay function at the end of each game!

Now that my network isn't being Thrashed dumping everything onto my NAS and the DotA major is over I'm going to hop on a play a few games tonight.

I'm meant to be doing overnight supervision at Ronald McDonald House tonight, but as at yesterday afternoon we actually had no families booked in for tonight - so if that's the case, then I might jump on and play for a bit too. I might be on a bit early for you though, NTD.

So hard! I can get individual ones on All-Star level, but to do ten random shots in a row for the 100% would be insanely hard!

The training is damn handy, a good way to get a bit of practice without being smashed around by other cars!

Ideally, sure. But with a full time job and a full time wife, getting any stretch of time to do something like that is problematic. Unfortunately.

Almost everyone in the comp has those things, which is why the comp is just the best of 3 x 5 minute matches.Only need 25-30 minutes a week at a mutually convenient time with the others playing :)
