PSA: use the same copy of fallout for 2 people.

So with Steam library sharing if the library owner plays a game on steam no one else can use anything in their library.

However I've found a cheeky solution to this, going into offline mode by clicking on Steam>Go online allows me to run fallout 4 and allows my missus to use my game library including FO4 I don't have to block internet access or anything just run steam in offline.

For anyone with kids/a family/a partner that games this is a great way to share your copy of fallout or your entire steam library with those you love while still being able to use your single player steam games.

This would be amazing if we have two devices capable of running FO4

Build a second one and run it through the TV a PC to run fallout is only about $400...

Still.. $400 just to play one game? If I was 'super' keen I'd just buy it on the PS4 as well :P

This works with any Steam game that's included in Family Sharing.

I justified building my missus PC (though i already had the parts on hand minus a PSU) as having a back up PC as it's a pretty essential thing for me... but i mean everyone needs a back-up right ?

If that excuse doesn't work just upgrade your own PC and then build the second one with the parts lying around ;)
