OTHER INFORMATION
HOW TO SIGN UP: The PA League is here https://www.dirtgame.com/us/leagues/lea ... yer-attack. For some this works from in-game, for others they visit the site directly. Membership is open so you can join and start racing straight away.

VEHICLES/MONEY: We may use vehicles that you do not currently have. Do recommend completing the Clubman Championship as well as the online challenges (daily races, deltas, weeklies and monthlies if you have the right vehicles). This will help you earn good cash (winning an event in Clubman is good for between 85k and 90k+ so if you place first across the whole season you can really clean up).

OTHER: The PA League is not a competitive one, despite the fact we post leaderboards. Please don't worry about your track times and just enjoy the crazy drives. Also recommend first-time drivers focus on completing the track rather than competing... I've lost track of how many times I've ended doing well out of daily challenges because I drove to finish rather than drove to win while a lot of other players crash out. You'll build up speed over time as you become more familiar with the tracks and the game.

please post up if you've joined!

I'd join along, however I don't like to finish last  Plus my wheel broke and I doubt this is playable with a controller.

Actually it's excellent on a controller! I have it on Xbox and have also used the controller on my PC a bunch.

Don't worry about leaderboards!

I may join in, but with the lack of decent multiplayer in DiRT Rally i'm not all that excited by this title.

I haven't even tried rallycross in pvp, that's the only multiplayer yeah? Hopefully DiRT4 can include that while maintaining the sim aspect of DR.

Easy to set some times though, Brat, and surely you're guaranteed the wins :D

I play it on a controller. I find it really good feedback-wise. Though I've never played on a steering wheel so I can't compare.

3 people in the league now, 1 of my other mates has joined us. Hopefully he isn't as good as his name (RallyMan) kinda points to :P
Also... the system to join a league is retarded... why a webpage that I need to log into my Steam account for. Why can't these things be put into the menus of the game?

Edit: Link to the league page, hopefully it works for others and makes it easier to join

Awesome! If I had a dedicated rig I'd go with a wheel, but it's too much of a pain to set up and pack away every time I use it

Right, Event 1 complete with a time of 47:05. Sub 8 minutes on each stage with no restarts (had some very, very lucky crashes). Reckon sub 8:30 would be a 'good' time.

Those Finnish courses are crazy.. just gotta trust your co-driver and turn the wheel.. barely take the foot off the pedal on those tracks.

Also don't recommend driving into anything on the night course.. did so halfway through my run and lost my headlights! Was a dark and scary run to the finish.

Okay, I tried my first run with a mini cooper. Front-wheel drive certainly changes the equation! Kind of sucks that I can't (easily) slide around corners like I can with the RWD, but I'll try a few more practice runs to get used to it.

Aren't you allowed to select ant car for the event? If not, can't you reset the career and start out with the mini Cooper S?

Mini-Cooper S is pretty cheap, should only take a few dailies or a clubman champ to earn it.

Also, DiRT Rally $12 on Humble Bundle!
