Community Servers thread

dotarray wrote:Player Attack doesn't host game servers, but we know that some of you do, so please chuck the details in this thread and we'll keep this post updated with all the relevant information!

Thanks to Hoodoo and Mearehear for the suggestion, which I have blatantly stolen and am running away with. Hooray!
Note: When you have posted your server details I will add it here in a consistent format, with the first "Server Info:" part linking to your post, then your server name, followed by a link to your forum profile as a point of contact. As the server link will be to your original post, if you keep that post updated (including adding any banners) it will be easy for people to check any further information.

Oops, was going to do this earlier. :dodgy:

People who enjoy a bit of friendly TF2 should check out Smurfy Fortress, run by former GON-player goosmurf. They have active admins, some useful plugins and a decent map rotation.
More details on the Smurfy Fortress TF2 group. Or just click here to join Smurfy TF2 #1. :)

Please do join us on Smurfy Fortress per Mythor's post!

There's more than a few ex-GON players. In fact all of our initial players were ex-GON. We started our own servers because GON went AFK for many months towards the end of 2012/early 2013 and we had nowhere to play!

Can confirm, GooSmurf servers are best servers.

Well for those that play Ark: Survival Evolved.

I run a server that's hosted via StreamLine servers (Sydney)
All details about the server can be found via our steam group Link

If browsing via server list look out for ARK-AUS-PvPvE-5XP-10H-10xTame-LVL250CAP or you can connect now.

We've just started adding mods to the server.
The current mods we're running are Small Dragon & Industrial Grinder

Can we maybe keep this opening post updated with a list of the servers people have provided, rather than leaving them to become scattered throughout a few pages as people add more and comment?

For example, with what people have listed so far;

EDIT: Updated in opening post.

MoHAA-Breakthru and Spearhead appear to be open for everyone now, get all 3 for free in one pack at http://mohaarevival.tk/

The server browser issues without gamespy have been worked around, which is covered in the above installer.

Free MoHAA is very interesting! Can't say no to trying out free things.

I think the biggest shock for me when I tested it was seeing default 640 by 480 on first startup (we have come a long way), went straight to the second highest resolution and turned evrything up to max. :)

MoHAA Reborn/Revival is labeled Version 1.12.

The Freezetag server is 1.11 and the 1.12 client can use it fine, so it's backwards compat.

I haven't tried the 1.12 server with 1.11 client yet, (for anyone thinking about blowing the dust off those old CD's.) though the 1.12 patch is also available.

Hi guys,
Yes It's been a long time coming!
I'd just like to thank MUG & Omni for their support in helping me setup the much loved MOHAA up and reviving the game!!! :-D .. And to be able to get the servers going in such a short amount of time, really means a lot to me and I'm guessing for some other MOHAA fanatics! :-D .. I couldn't have done this without you guys! Really appreciate it guys.

I owe you both a beverage!

Much love,

Shane.

Holy shit, I had no idea this existed!

Any idea what time/day these servers generally get populated?

I'll point Rudie back in here, but the servers are 2 days old, so a work in progress hoping to grow.

Last time I was involved in MoHAA was as the head admin at Gamespace, which I killed off due to the bad behaviour of the noisy minority and admins unable to commit the time to control it, the game itself was awesome and still very popular at the time.

I played the absolute shit out of AA and SH, mainly on the Game Arena servers. It was probably the first time i'd actually seriously played anything online.

I'm very keen to give it another go!

Back in those days it was "MadmaN^" I believe.

I was in and out of a few clans but I can't for the life of me remember the names... Played SH more-so than AA but was on the server pretty much every night... Quadrunner is one of the names that comes to mind.

Should the list of servers be aggregated in the first post?

If you can't be bothered/don't have time Merehear, I can make a new thread and collate stuff and keep it rolling
