What are we looking at in terms of dates?

Second week of December? Leave it till after the Autumn/BlackFriday/whatever sale Steam usually has at the end of November so people dont get confused about which sale to buy from. Also happy to help during the busy bits as needed.

Yeah I'm in, depending on the dates I'll either send my gifts in early or towards the end based around my Perth travel dates.

Probably going to need another thread just for sign ups, with the conversations about it going on here.
Will get too hard to find sign ups if they are within the conversation thread.

Also I would say that sign ups need to be open for about 3 weeks to make sure that everyone who wants to be involved can be.
So if we want to open it up on the 5th of December, giving a few days for organisation, I would say closing it on November 30th.
So 3 weeks prior would be 9th of November, so yesterday. Might be a good idea to get a stickied thread added soon for signups.

I would.. but given I'm not really doing a whole lot of PC gaming it seems pointless now, nevermind the fact I've probably got every game I could ever want from any Steam sale in my games list anyway

Yeah.. my thoughts are that it's a bit same old? Most people have everything they could want from Steam, maybe push it into real life and do a proper exchange with gifts via post? Opens up a lot more options for people

I would rather not as that is a logistical nightmare that is very hard to monitor. There been drama in past year from certain people that, if it were physical without me over looking the entire scape, would have gone pear very quickly.

I think due to the low numbers that this might be something to skip this year.

But how about a PA night of gaming and talking shit? Use a team speak somewhere, or the PA discord channel. Have a few different games running, from Dirt 3 to Rocket League to Battlefield?
