Yeah, they are rolling back gems but not in a fair way from what I can tell. Those who were on say lvl90 gems previously and undertook the exploit walk away with like lvl125 gems or so.

Of course, the Devs may still ban players or do targeted rollbacks. I suspect that they're going to weed out players by watching the leaderboards to determine who to look closer at.

For anyone that's a fan of pet builds the recent changes to Rathmas is amazing. The ramp up time on the damage is very quick and things just melt.
I'm currently using a Rathmas build for speed farming and have even done a 90 with it.

Good thing Rathma is the free set for necros in S11 then!

I'm taking it easy in D3 atm. Will do some high grs this weekend for xp but have pretty much stopped farming for Necro gear.

Btw, how crap is this weeks challenge rift build? LON with just two ancient pieces. Looks like the player just started gearing.

Well the whole dbl XP weekend was a fizzer for me. Opted to work instead and only got a measly 10 paragons bringing me up to 1350 for offseason.

The choice to work wasn't hard tho considering the new season starts next weekend and two weekends of diablo grinding in a row would be a bit much with current commitments. That being said I've pretty much cleared my calendar for the start of S11. This season I'll focus on Nerco mainly but will most-likely roll another wizard.

Whats everyone else going to play for S11?

Forgot all about the double XP weekend. :D

Will be playing Necro, at least primarily. Like probably half the population!

Double xp still going tonight if you're keen to grind a bit more. Ends 3am.

As for class, it'll be Necro for me. I've got a list of legendaries I need to cube and they're all Necro items. All the other classes are sorted and being me, I don't want to wasted mats in NS when I need to do this as part of the season journey anyway.

Have done too much grinding in Lord of the Rings Online to grind another thing.

But maybe. :D

Sooo this season starts Friday morning Aus time? That's annoying. I liked being easily able to find a group on the Saturday morning start time to level to 70

At this stage, I have Friday off. I'm going to be on (unless work decides I won't).

I might jump in Friday night... but really not sure I can be bothered
Won't be playing Necro as I don't have that... which other class has a good set this season? (Not WD)

Demon Hunters get Unhallowed Essence which I think is a great set, it's super fun to play and quite powerful, You can blast through 70-75 or so without an obscene amount of work, and if you don't like it you can annihilate high torment levels so you can farm another set pretty easily

I agree. I'm going to roll a DH on my HC account.

I likely won't have Friday off and I'm out on Friday night so I will likely just rebirth my seasonal necro and do my challenge rift to get some mats for a head start before playing properly on Saturday morning.

The last update broke D3 yet again... stacks in the power bar stopped showing - lol

Another update is downloading as I type... I assume it's to fix this.

And for those not decided on which class to play yet, here's how the classes/builds are ranking:

Yeah, definitely don't do the current challenge rift until season starts if you want a mats, gold and blood shard boost on day 1. 4mil gold goes a long way during 1-70. Even the more legit streamers are promoting it after a blue confirmed this is working as intended.

Nah, they moved it forward by a day this time in case they needed to fix anything before the bulk of the player base gets cracking. But considering how the exploit was handed, I don't think they needed it.

Signed on last night to rebirth my seasonal character as well as set it up with my challenge rift caches but got a powerlevel from a clan member instead.

Need to do a set of bounties later on today... just couldn't find it in me to do that last night. Kudos to my clan member for carrying me through chapters 1 and 2.

Not a bad bit of loot for the short period of time I've been playing.

Got my 6pc Rathmas now as well as the 2pc weapon set.

I got my Krysbin's in the cube, and the double mage ring too equipped. Also dropped two ammys where I didn't get any in NS... I swear the drops in Seasons are definitely better.

EDIT: Dropped a Consumable at P75... my earliest one yet in a season.

I'm finding the Rathma set over engaging... don't like casting mages every 10 seconds.

Ive had a good good start to the season thus far. Sitting on 530 paragon, done a solo 70, had 2 primals drop (sash of knives and innarus chest), my gems are sitting on 60 atm and Ive had a full set (and then some) of each necro armour set drop.

Now just grinding paras and upgrading to ancients.

That's a decent start mate!

I'm at P329 but haven't been playing as much as many of the others in my clan. I think I just got lucky to be carried at higher rifts/GRs half the time. Was racking in 10+ paragons per rift/GR for a while and I know I'm not doing that much damage.

Been dropping a lot of the the items I needed to cube. Just missing 5 more necro items now I think.

Missing the endless walk set... in fact I haven't dropped any set jewellery apart from Blackthornes. The only compass rose I have was given to me.

OK, I've warmed to the Rathma set now that I've put Skele Mages on numlock and just need to focus on generating essence.

Good idea. I'll do that tonight and see how it goes.

I've made a barb on the other account and a necro on the main. Both have done chapter 4 so they have the basic 6 set, but the main account is obviously getting most of my attention.
