Yet someone, or many people, will probably win, so if you don't buy a ticket you've got no chance

I believe the chance of winning any division is 1 in 44 which is still not too shabby.

I reckon buying with just the social and entertainment factor in mind is the way to go. And if you lose, you go get a drink and think about all that you still have in life. Again, provided one has the disposable income or done once in a blue moon.

Re: Show Us Your Latest Purchase - August 2018
We pay everything we can ahead of time. I essentially work out what things cost us annually, divide it by the number of pay periods we have and then auto-transfer that amount across each time I get paid. For example, our body corporate fees are $1,690/year and we both get paid 26 times (fortnightly) so each fortnight we auto-transfer $65 to the body corporate and each time the bill arrives it's either nil owing or slightly in credit.
We do this with our mobiles, tablets, foxtel, internet, electricity, gas, strata fees, council rates, water bill, etc and I pay home insurance, contents insurance and health insurance by the month as well. The only thing we can't do it with at the moment is rego and ctp, and that bugs me.
I know we don't have to do it this way and I've had people argue that we're better off keeping the money in our account, but at the end of the day any 'interest' I'd earn holding onto that money would be minimal and it makes a huge difference to my anxiety when I know that every bill I receive will always be fully paid or in credit.

$320 in specialists bills. Neurologist and Cardiologist. Actual cost after Medicare rebates.
Didn't get good news. I also have to go back again, so there are more bloody fees.

The Blue Yeti I bought shit itself. I tried to return it to MWave but they claim "consumer damaged" and are violating my Australian rights to a return, replacement or a refund. So I bought the above from my store of choice - PC Case Gear.
So I spent about $10 in phone fees and about $1 at the local library to print out a letter of demand.
I then followed it up instantly with a complaint to fair trading. I will fight this to the bitter end, and I will make their life a living hell if I have to. I will not stand for anyone's consumer guarantees being violated by a bunch of cunts. Claiming I broke the USB cord - impossible for me to do - I can barely open a bottle of milk.

Only the monitor riser. I want something to make my monitor up higher. Acer standard mount doesn't do much. Trying that until I get around to buying proper VESA mounts for my 3 monitors.
