Yeah, the food was really good - one of the best restaurants in Canberra imo. Very small servings though, so it's hard to know just how much it all added up to. And there's really no saying how much oil and butter they use to make it taste so good.

Yeah, that's the catch - it's our wedding anniversary next weekend and we're off to one of our fanciest restaurants in town and there's no way we'll be able to calorie track that meal. Having said that, being a special occasion, I can't imagine our choices would change even if it was trackable.

Yesterday:
- 23900 steps
- 11.25 km fast finish run (9km@140bpm, 2.25km@160bpm)
- under calorie target

Measured my waist this morning, and I'm down 8cm from when I started this. So it appears I'm losing the weight in the right area of my body...

Yesterday:
- 14500 steps
- 2.4km brisk walk
- under calorie target

After a week and a half of not moving the scales, I've dropped 1.5kg in the last week. If this continues I'll have to start eating more.

The only reason I know the movement stats is I wear a running watch, and the app tracks it for me.

Had a bit of a wild weekend calorie-wise with our anniversary dinner, etc.

Decided to try and make a bento style lunch for this week, doesn't seem half as good as the ones I see online but anyways...

Consists of an Up & Go (as I have medical appointments in the morning, so can have it on the run), Roast Beef, Salami, Cheese, Egg, Carrot sticks, Blueberry Greek Yoghurt plus fresh strawberries & blue berries and an OJ. This is breakfast, lunch and snacks and comes to around 750 cal leaving plenty of room for dinner.

I can't drink for the next few weeks so that'll make things easier when the option doesn't exist, I guess!

Friday:
- 19000 steps
- 5.3km medium tempo run (10:00@140bpm, 22:00@160bpm, 5:00@140bpm)
- probably over calorie target (dinner was an estimate)

Saturday:
- 15000 steps
- 4.1km low intensity jog
- 2×20 Russian twists, 2×20 squats, 2×15×7.5 bicep curls
- around calorie target (both meals ate out)

Sunday:
- 23000 steps
- 13km low intensity jog
- slightly over calorie target

Today I've gotten DOMS for the first time in a long time, so today is a much needed recovery day.

Weighed in and have lost 2kg since we started this thread, it should realistically be higher for me and I was hoping for 4kh, but with a lot of stressful shit going on the past fortnight there's been a solid level of alcohol consumption and a few too many cheat meals but hey, 2kg in a month is better than nothing so I'll take it.

Finding it easier to stay at or under my calorie target by pre-packing everything I can eat the next day, and also by eliminating stuff like bread which sucks up the calories way too quickly and sticking to things like meat, cheese, eggs, fruit, etc rather than packaged foods which don't leave me feeling full for long.

Have quite a few things coming up that involves eating and/or drinking, so figure if I can minimise the damage during the week (like when you spend 40 minutes trying to get me to agree to drink champagne :P) then hgopefully those things won't make too much difference.

I have a High Tea fundraiser this weekend, McHappy Day fundraise the following weekend, Volunteer social drinks the weekend after that, then the weekend of 30th November-1 December we have the Horn/Mundine fight, Smoking Brothers for my birthday, Sunday Session at Greenhouse aaaaand then the following weekend is the work Christmas Party. So a busy few weekends ahead.

2kg a month is pretty decent - well within the range they say for sustainable weight loss, so all things considered well done!

Yesterday:
- 17500 steps
- 5.25km medium intensity fast finish run (25:00@140bpm, 10:30@160bpm)
- probably under calorie target (takeaway lunch)

No running today because of the wet weather, but I am going the rain holds off enough at lunch that I'll at least be able to get a walk in.

It hasn't stopped since 10am this morning, but it's not so heavy, so I guess I'll go out with my umbrella.

Saturday:
- 14000 steps
